Portunus Port Spares & Services has completed the refurbishment of three STS cranes at PSA Mersin in Turkey.
The project involved a general upgrade and retrofitting of the latest crane technology available.
Portunus said that the work will extend the life of the crane, provide PSA Mersin with more effective cranes, and help the operator stay ahead in a competitive market.
The company added that PSA Mersin will be able to achieve greater productivity, shorter cycle times, increased safety, better ergonomics and greater performance.
“Port throughput varies from port to port but wherever cargo is handled, speed, reliability and efficiency are paramount,” said Onder Turker of Portunus.
